New Post Alert! Can I move to the UK from America?

Happy New Year! I hope you had an enjoyable and restful holiday season, and aren't pushing yourself too hard with new year pressure. My daughter has been involved in a million activities in recent months, and it was a relief to stay home over the holidays. We did venture into London a few times to see the Christmas lights and head to the theatre. Otherwise, it was all pajamas all the time at our house.

Now that we've headed into 2024, I'm feeling the travel bug pretty strongly. We are tentatively planning a trip to Portugal this year, and maybe heading back to France as well. Of course I've got my eye on more UK-centric travels as well to share some new ideas with you!

When we were first interested in moving to the UK, I remember January being a big push in motivation to sort out how we could make it happen. We actively worked on finding our way here - it wasn't a simple plan at all! With that in mind, you'll find the newest post on the blog out today focused on all the ways you can move here. Take a look here if you've toyed with idea of making a move!

As always, if you have questions about moving here or want to plan an epic UK trip for 2024, send me a message! Have a wonderful January wherever your plans may take you.

Talk again soon,

Victoria

Tower of London and Tower Bridge at night across the Thames

Shakespeare Outside of the Globe I recently went into central London with my daughter to see a production of Richard II starring Jonathan Bailey. It was very fun to see Fiyero do Shakespeare, but the whole cast was incredible. The location was also an interesting twist. Bridge Theatre is one of the newest theatre venues in London, located just a mile down the river from Shakespeare's Globe. The Bridge doesn't only run Shakespeare plays, but the flexible space was set up for a similar "show in...
